We are a small company and intend to stay that way. We have 15 years design experience and have published books on practical web design.

Our operation is restricted to the UK, which also helps us to limit our size.
This policy also ensures that we stay below the VAT threshold so that we do not have to charge VAT.

By deliberately restricting our size we can offer an expert service at sensible prices. This also gives us time to concentrate on your requirements instead of trying to cope with massive administration problems.

We always use the latest code (HTML5, PHP7 and CSS3) and we don't cheat by using frameworks such as WordPress.

Our latest websites are Responsive; that is, they grow or shrink to fit any size of screen from desktop to smart phone.

The founder, Adrian West, (The A in amwebdesign) has an arts degree and spent many years in commercial design work. He has also taught web design and oil painting.
Moira Wight BSc (the M in amwebdesign) was star pupil in Adrian's web-based tutorial on web design. She became our main partner in 2012.
